Program
This seven-story, 148,000 square foot, Class-A office building is the first one in the Memphis area to successfully pursue the USGBC’s LEED Gold Certification. Although The Crump Firm, Inc. has designed several projects to meet LEED standards, this will be the first one that has been submitted to the USGBC for certification.
One of the many challenging aspects of this project is the fact that Triad Centre III is being built to match the two existing structures already in place, while incorporating the new sustainable design objectives of the LEED rating system.
Some of the key “green” features of Triad Centre III include: low-E tinted exterior glass, low VOC materials for increased indoor air quality, highly reflective materials on-site & on-roof to reduce heat island effect and bike racks & shower facilities to promote alternative transportation.
